Ghostbusters 2016. (final project post)

I seek to answer the question of whether the Ghostbusters remake from 2016.

The trailer for Ghostbusters (2016) garnered a lot of heated debate and controversy after the trailer was met with criticism from fans. A lot of journalists and other people around the internet saw this as strange, and accused the critics of resenting the creators of the film for casting women in the main roles of the film. Because of this, there was controversy up until the release of the film when it inevitably flopped after opening weekend. Film critics looked at the film fondly, rating it with mostly positive scores on multiple platforms. The audience scores for the film were extremely Low.  A lot of people speculate that this is due to the troubled  advertising campaign that led to this whole controversy. This caused people to question whether the film was not successful because of how "Progressive" It was, blaming hordes of online fans deeming them "Ghost Bros"

But is Ghostbusters (2016) Actually that progressive?
